This is very interesting, to say the least. But let’s consider where we fit into this crazy online world. How much exposure do you have on your website? How many fans do you have on Facebook? How many people have hit +1 on your website?
Google Plus is the newest social network on the block and they hit the ground running. In fact, they seem to be encouraging businesses to put pages on Google+ as Google+ pages are showing up much higher in Google search results. Let’s not call that cheating, ok? Let’s call that an incentive program. Add your business to Google+ and you’ll show up higher on Google’s search engine. I don’t have a problem with that. Do you? I’m ALL IN on this deal.
What I’m really trying to say is that the Internet is far too large and far too active for you to sit back and watch others make all the money. You simply can’t succeed with a $500 website and a non-existing online marketing campaign. It’s time to take the Internet seriously. There are so many ways to grow your business online.
